DescriptionThe emergence of an intelligence augmentation economy will fundamentally change the nature of work and what people need to learn and do to be its contributors and beneficiaries. With this possible future defined, we will engage participants in a discussion about what it means for the science and practice of human factors/ergonomics design and engineering. Finally, we will propose the learning engineering process as one model that might help advance the field in response to the intelligence augmentation economy.
