Presenter

Cassidy R. Nelson is a fourth-year doctoral candidate specializing in Human Factors in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at Virginia Tech. She earned her master’s in Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics in ISE from Virginia Tech in 2021 and her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2017. She is an aspiring HFE professor and practitioner with research interests in augmented reality, EdTech, user experience (UX), games, and emergency response.
