Biography
Currently, as a Principal Human Systems Engineer, I advocate for a systems-level perspective of the human factors, both impacting and impacted by design choices in development. Before joining Draper in 2016, and holding a number of positions related to human computer interaction (HCI), user experience (UX), and human factors (HF) and human systems, I earned a Bachelor’s from The University of Central Florida in 2009, and a Master’s, and PhD from The Pennsylvania State University in 2011 and 2014, respectively. All of my degrees are in Industrial Engineering, each focusing in Human Factors along the way – from physical ergonomics and environmental impact to work performance, macro-ergonomics and organizational structure, to my dissertation topic of modeling decision-making through the lens of individual differences.
