Shilo Anders, PhD is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Biomedical Informatics, and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. She the Acting Director of CRISS while Dr. Weinger is on sabbatical in Spain. Dr. Anders, who trained as a cognitive engineer seeks to apply human factors engineering to improve system design, individual and team performance, and patient safety and quality in healthcare using simulation and in real-world environments.
