Alison Cloet
Biography
Alison Cloet is an M.S. student in Apparel Studies: Product Development at the University of Minnesota. Currently, she is a research assistant in the Human Dimensioning Lab, where she conducts usability and design research of protective face masks for healthcare. She also has experience in the HDL utilizing 3D body scanning technology to capture and analyze dynamic anthropometry to advance the fit and performance of protective wearable products. Her interests in design, 3D technologies, and healthcare have led to pursuing a career in health sciences librarianship after graduation, specializing in emerging tools and technologies to support health research and education.
