Holly Handley

Biography
Holly A. H. Handley is an Associate Professor in the Engineering Management and System Engineering Department at Old Dominion University. Her research focuses on applying systems engineering principles and experience in computational modeling to conduct research and perform analysis on challenging problems of complex socio-technical systems. She received a PhD in Information Technology and Engineering from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) in 1999 and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. Her education also includes a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson College (Potsdam, NY) in 1984, a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) in 1987, and an MBA from the University of Hawaii (Manoa, HI) in 1995. She is an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Systems Council Distinguished Lecturer and a Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Science Policy Fellow. She was recently named an Old Dominion University Provost Fellow.
