Jacob Hunter is a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He is a member of the Research in Engineering and Interdisciplinary Design (REID) Lab. His research interests include design for social impact and human-machine interaction. For his undergraduate degree, Jacob double majored in Mechanical Engineering and French Studies at Brigham Young University. His current work primarily focuses on understanding how humans trust autonomous vehicles.
