Dr. Azevedo is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Human Factors & Aging Laboratory at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research is focused on relationships among professional expertise, aging, cognition, decision making, and risk perception in complex domains such as health, accounting, and behavioral economics. Related to this presentation, he is working on the MEDSReM project: a digital health intervention that supports medication self-management, autonomy, and remote monitoring to improve antihypertensive medication adherence.
