Philippe Doyon-Poulin

Biography
Philippe Doyon-Poulin is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering. Doyon-Poulin worked 8 years in human factors engineering at Bombardier Aerospace where he authored more than 25 aircraft certification reports to show compliance with the new aircraft regulations 525.1302 on the flight deck usability and 525.1309 on pilot error. At Polytechnique, his research focuses on interactivity, error prevention and decision-making with automated systems in aviation, process control and health care.
