Gabe is a Biology graduate from the College of Charleston and is currently a Research Program Assistant for Human Factors in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine. He has clinical experience as a volunteer in the adult emergency room at MUSC and has conducted research in various healthcare-related fields including virology, immunology, cardiology and genomics. With a keen interest in medicine and an awareness of the daily challenges that affect both patients and healthcare professionals, he hopes to utilize a systems-based approach to understand the daily challenges faced by healthcare teams and help to enhance quality of care.
