Matthew Bolton

Biography
Matthew L. Bolton received the B.S. in computer science, M.S. in systems engineering, and Ph.D. in systems engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA, in 2004, 2006, and 2010, respectively. He was previously a senior researcher at the NASA Ames Research Center and has held academic appointments at the San Jose State University, the University of Illinois, Chicago, and the University at Buffalo. He is currently an Associate Professor of Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on using human performance modeling and formal methods to design and analyze system safety and security.
