Biography
Frederick joined the UC Ergonomics lab in June 2021 after receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and has recently received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with concentrations in biomechanics and human factors & ergonomics. He is a recipient of the NIOSH ERC Research Training Grant. His current research in ergonomics pertains to chair design, user-chair interfacial pressure, and micromotion. He also works in the Berkeley Biomechanics Laboratory, where he aims to validate image texture correlation results of sonograms of tendons within the carpal tunnel.
