Pamela Savage-Knepshield
Biography
Dr. Pam Savage-Knepshield is a research psychologist in the Combat Capabilities Command’s Data Analysis Center matrixed to the Program Executive Office Command Control Communications-Tactical as the Soldier-centered design and human systems integration lead. She earned a doctorate in Cognitive Psychology from Rutgers University and is a Fellow of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. She has over 30 years of human factors and user interface design experience working in industry, academia, and for the US Army. Her expertise spans the entire acquisition process from the front-end development process identifying user needs and translating them into system requirements to system design and usability testing. Pam has designed desktop software, web apps, intranet portals, and handhelds. She is currently leading the design of field artillery command and control systems and apps for the Army.
