Makoto Itoh received his B.S., M.S., and Doctor’s degrees in engineering from the University of Tsukuba in 1993, 1995, and 1999, respectively. Since 2013, he has been a Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, Information and Systems, University of Tsukuba. His research interests include enhancement of operator’s situation awareness and building appropriate trust, as well as prevention of over-trust and distrust.
