Biography
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of OTD Program in Occupational Therapy, primarily teaching adult content in assessment and intervention courses. I have a background in psychology and occupational therapy and worked as an occupational therapist for over 9 years before assuming my current position in academia. My areas of academic instruction and research have aligned with my clinical background in spinal cord injury. I teach courses in neurologic rehabilitation, mental health practice, and assistive technology. My research contributions have focused on interventions for neurologic populations, adaptive approaches that support participation and engagement for individuals with disabilities, and instructional design.
