Dietrich Manzey is a university professor of Work, Engineering and Organizational Psychology at Technische Universitaet (TU) Berlin, Germany. His research addresses issues of human-automation interaction in different domains, cockpit display design, multitasking, and performance in complex tasks. Former research has also addressed issues of human performance during spaceflight. He also serves as psychological consultant of the European Space Agency astronaut corps. His publications include more than 160 articles, proceedings contributions and book chapters. He is elected member of the International Academy of Astronautics, Fellow of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and member of the German Psychological Society.
