Nick Britten is a 3rd year graduate student currently pursuing PhD in Industrial Systems Engineering with a concentration in Human Factors and Ergonomics. In conjunction with his studies Nick works as a Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. Miguel Perez in the Center for Data Analysis and Reduction at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institution (VTTI). Prior to his graduate studies Nick worked as a Lead Research Specialist and Senior Research Specialist in the Center for Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR) at VTTI from 2013-2019. Most recently, Nick completed his M.S. in Human Factors from the Industrial Systems Engineering department at Virginia Tech. In addition, Nick was awarded the department's 2021 Master’s Student of the Year award and was a selected as a 2021 Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation fellow.
