Julie Cook has had a variety of job duties during her employment at VTTI. These include assisting in the development, organization, and implementation of numerous static, test-track, and naturalistic transportation studies. She has experience training and supervising staff in the areas of data collection and reduction. Julie has extensive experience working with Institutional Review Boards (IRB) to ensure research protocols meet federal guidelines for the protections of human subjects. She has served as VTTI’s IRB department reviewer for over ten years, and also serves as a liaison between VTTI research teams and the Virginia Tech IRB.
