Susan Hallbeck, PhD, PE, CPE is a Professor of Health Care Systems Engineering and Consultant in Health Care Delivery Research and Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. Susan is the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Director for Health Care Systems Engineering in Mayo Clinic’s Kern Center for the Science of Health Care. Dr. Hallbeck is the immediate past-President of HFES.
