Yisrael Parmet is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel He holds a B.A. in Economics and Statistics and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics from Tel-Aviv University. He specializes in the area of design of experiments and statistical modeling. During his graduate studies, he served as a research assistant at the statistical laboratory at the Department of Statistics and OR, Tel Aviv University which granted him knowledgeableness in practical data analysis. Prof. Parmet has expanded his research interests to Human Factors Engineering applying novel statistical methodologies and quantitative methods. In the years 2012 -2021, Prof. Parmet was the head of the Statistics study program at BGU.
