Swati Goel is a second-year Ph.D. student at Clemson University. She studied architecture at the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India, and went on to get her Master of Science in Architectural Design and Research at the University of Michigan in 2018. Swati worked in the field of architectural design for five years before pursuing a career in architecture + healthcare research. She believes that design should be rooted in evidence-based research. Currently, she works as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Health Facilities Design and Testing (CHFDT) at Clemson University.
