Biography
Christy Harper spent 17 years at HP, first as a practitioner and later as a research manager. Five years ago, she opened a consulting agency, End to End User Research. Christy’s areas of expertise are ethnographic research and research applied to product design. Christy’s research has led to product innovations, and she has been awarded three patents. She received her Master of Arts and degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, (UHCL) where she is a Distinguished Alumni. She is the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Chapter Cochair and the President of the HFES WOMAN affinity group. She also serves as the Past President and Program Director for the Houston chapter of HFES and is the Chairperson of the Advisory Board for UHCL’s Applied Human Factors Program. Christy is also a recipient of the HFE WOMAN Mentor of the Year Award.
