Hsiang-Wen Hsing
Biography
Hsiang-Wen (Gram) Hsing is a PhD student in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech since 2017. He is primarily interested in augmented and virtual reality in human-computer interaction research. He previously worked on using eye-tracking to investigate the cognitive difference in spatial problem-solving for different spatial ability dimensions. His current research aims to provide cognitive aid through augmented reality to ensure workplace safety and increase operational performance for powered-exoskeleton operators.
Gram received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, in 2013. Gram later received his master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, in 2019.
